Odunayo (Ayo) Ojo or Fashion Roadman is well known in the fashion industry as a fashion journalist boasting over 90 thousand subscribers on YouTube and 3 million views. By conducting deep research regarding his subject matter and delivering it with a witty flow, his journalistic commentary works due to its engaging format that allows viewers to visualize and participate in the conversation. Ojos objective views and straightforward critique delivery without any bias is also what makes him enjoyable to watch.
Ojo grew up in London and Nigeria, as a kid he loved reading magazines such as Harpers Bazaar, The Face and i-D. He got the name Fashion Roadman during his time in London. He had an eclectic sense of style and his peers would call him a Fashion Roadman. His sense of style now however is laidback and tasteful. At 17 he got his first fashion internship working for the founder of Deploy London, Bernice Pan, this was when he gained more interest in the ins and outs of the fashion industry. While also studying fashion journalism at Central Saint Martins, Ojo runs a self funded print magazine called Fashion Archive. Fashion Archive creates space for up and coming creatives, the first issue sold out within a day for £50 at 350 copies.
